Mindy Hutton: Muscle Shoals, Alabama, United States; I have taught fifth grade in the same small district in northwest Alabama for seven years, but over the summer I accepted a media specialist position at a K-4 school in another district! I graduated in July of 2013 with an Ed.S. degree in Teacher Leadership, and I received National Board Certification in 2012. I hold a Master's degree in Library Media and a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am also a certified ALEX (Alabama Learning Exchange) trainer. My first job is Mom, but the one I get paid for is Teacher. I love my job, and I am constantly seeking out new ways to help my students and improve my instruction.
